If you are having difficulty getting something in the apartment to work during your stay then this page should give you some more detailed instructions with accompanying photos.

HEATING:

If you are having issues getting the heating system to turn on then please first make sure  that the switches to control the system  are set exactly the same as the photo below and that the thermostat in the hallway is set to a high temperature eg 30 degrees celsius. Int the photo below it is only set to 20 degrees.

Please allow around 15 minutes for the radiators to start to warm up. If after 15 minutes a a radiator is still cold then please check that the valve on the individual radiator is set to full on as shown in the photo below

If the radiators are still not heating up then with the system set on as shown in the first photos then please look in the wardrobe in the second bedroom. Below the boiler there is a switch on the wall that should be illuminated as show in the photo below. If the light on this switch is not illuminating then the system may need a reset (explained below) to get it working again.

Central Heating Reset:

Very occasionally the heating system needs a reset for it to start working. To reset the system you will need to turn 3 switches off. These are one on the green wall in the kitchen, one on the wall next to the boiler and one switch on the boiler. The three switches are highlighted in the two photos below.

Please turn these four switches off and then wait for one minute. After the minute has elapsed please turn the four switches back on. The system should now start to work normally.

If the system does not begin to work then please message us. In the meantime there are two portable electric heaters which can be found in the bedroom wardrobes. There is also a third electric heater that's buil in to the kitchen. This is operated using the control panel on the wall to the right of the sink. Please turn all the switches on for maximum heating. The temperature can also be adjusted on the panel that's on the kitchen kickplate. Please see the photos below. With all three electric heaters operating the apartment should heat up quite quickly. There are also extra duvet covers located in the bedroom wardrobes should you wish to use them.
